I've created this site because this December I am planning a trip to exotic island of Bali with some of my closest girlfriends for 2 weeks, beginning a couple days before New Years.
If you've seen or read "Eat, Pray, Love" or even if you haven't, you know that Bali is a place rich with ancient culture, eastern spiritual practices, gorgeous beaches, great food, and renowned for its highly developed arts, dancing, sculpture, music, etc.
This is sure to be the trip of a lifetime and I am so excited to go! The great thing is Bali is extrememly inexpensive, in terms of cost of living, sight-seeing, eating, exploring. The only deterrent standing between me and my destiny :) is the pesky airplane fare. Now! Thats where you, my lovelies, come in....or at least I hope :)
Since the inception of this idea I have been planning and plotting how I can save up the cash necessary to pay the very expensive flight cost, $1440.00 to be exact, if I purchased today. What makes it difficult is the fact that I just moved to LA, where I am moving, buying a car, and all those other costly things one must do when moving to LA.
However, time waits for no man! And as the days go on the flight costs go up, I fear that I may not come up with the entire amount in sufficient time to purchase at this (relatively reasonable) fare. I have set aside the first $500 and am hoping that you, my beloved family and friends, might be interested in supporting me in my efforts by contributing as much or little as you can toward the remaining cost of my trip, as a donation or perhaps consider it an early Christmas gift!
